A large family of animals lives at Aquilone: ​​with them, our offerings have been enriched with numerous programs and activities for families and kindergarten and elementary school classes, both for day trips and longer stays.

The farm is equipped with large rooms and covered spaces that allow for comfortable working even in case of rain.

L’Aquilone offers visits to the farm’s animals and crops, along with explanations, small agricultural workshops (sowing, transplanting, firewood collection, caring for the small animals on the educational farm), cooking activities (baking bread, homemade pasta, preserves, and jams), kite-making, ceramics, searching for animal tracks and plaster casts, treasure hunts, tournaments, and orienteering.

The location is ideal for stays immersed in nature, which here maintains its appearance and charm unchanged. Surrounded by woods, meadows, and olive groves where olives are still harvested by hand, L’Aquilone is ideal for long walks in a pristine area, characterized for years by organic farming and populated by a rich wildlife.

The farm animals have been accustomed to interacting with children since birth and all have a peaceful and playful nature.

Guests, adults and children alike, can rediscover the flavors of the past and the thrill of contact with nature and the animals that liven up our educational farm.

We will be able to see a chick being born, feed a donkey, collect fresh eggs, prepare tagliatelle, tend the garden and carry out other activities of rural life. Children, in particular, have the opportunity to experience the rhythms of the past here.
